The honorable former senator from Tennessee, Fred Thompson has shown interest in becoming a candidate for President in 2008. Fred is the real deal, and has a voting record to prove it, go here and read it. I can honestly say I don’t agree with all his votes; however, I would pick him hands down over anybody who is currently running. I saw him on the dreaded Fox News this AM and he was great.

I don't know if he could win, but if Rudy took him as a running mate, it would improve the chances of both.
Shop, I don't know if he could win either, but I wouldn't have to hold my nose to vote for him. I can't say that for Rudy.
